Chicago Dramatists, the playwrights' theatre, has devoted all of its resources and programming to its singular mission of developing new plays and nurturing playwrights.
So why the online network? Chicago Dramatists has been the engine that drives Chicago’s theatre community. With such an extensive network of more than 200 playwrights and the masters of craft who help to make those scripts into tangible productions,
Chicago Dramatists is uniquely positioned to bring that community together into a place of conversation and sharing.

What do I need to do? Pretty up your profile, upload a display picture, join some
groups, proudly display a

forums! Then, invite your friends to join us too!
Can anyone join? Yes! This is a place for people inside and outside the theatre world to share thoughts, events, reviews, and opportunities. This is not a place for spammy behavior, so please leave self-serving business motives at the door.
How do I keep up with all the news etc? You should check back here often to see what everyone is up to. We are also on
